Josh Collazo

Josh Collazo is a Los Angeles based drummer who plays for Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros. He also drums for Letts, Crash, Jonathan Stout & his Campus Five, The Jonathan Stout Orchestra, The Grand Slam Sextet, Les Boulevardiers, The Candy Jacket Jazz Band, Dave Stuckey & his Hot House Gang, as well as a handful of other Los Angeles based jazz bands. Edward Sharpe and The Magnetic Zeros accepted their first Grammy in 2013 for their long form video documentary Big Easy Express, winning along with their friends Mumford & Sons and Old Crow Medicine Show. Recently, the Magnetic Zeros’ 2009 hit single, “Home”, went platinum selling over 1 million copies. Josh is currently working on a jazz album of his own which should be released in 2016. In addition to those, he has been recording on solo albums for Crash and Letts. He has also performed on the Late Show with David Letterman, Conan, Jimmy Kimmel Live, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Yo Gabba Gabba, and Austin City Limits.
